The Challenge
The Art Blend aimed to disrupt the traditional Indian art market by connecting 50+ verified artists directly with buyers, eliminating gallery commissions through a 0% commission Masterpiece Plan. The challenge was building a marketplace serving three distinct personas: buyers browsing 14 art categories, artists selling and taking custom commissions, and corporate clients seeking art rentals. Additionally, immersive digital features (3D virtual gallery, AR wall visualizer) were required to replicate the in-gallery experience online.
The Solution & Architecture
ProNext Labs engineered a sophisticated multi-sided marketplace at theartblend.in. We built a searchable product listing for 14 art categories, a custom art commission workflow, an artist registration and onboarding portal, an AI-powered art curator for buyer discovery, a WebGL-powered 3D VR Gallery for immersive browsing, an Augmented Reality wall visualizer to preview artwork in room settings, a B2B Corporate Rentals module for office and hotel art solutions, and a real-time Art Auction platform. The 0% commission Masterpiece Plan was built into the artist monetization layer.
